What kinds of people participate in the personal training sessions, and the group fitness class?
The people that participate in the various services we offer come from all works of life. Our participants vary from people that just need a jump-start to their fitness and wellness program, while some are just tired of their same old routine and are looking for a new challenge and refreshing way to stay fit. There is no requirement of a history of exercise to join our program. We make the program just right for your ability level. We accept and encourage all fitness levels!
What do I need to bring to my training session/Group Fitness Class?
For the Personal training sessions, all you will need is water and a positive attitude. For Get Shaped Boot Camp and Total Body Blast you will need to bring a pair of dumbbells and a thick mat. For Yoga and Bootycore classes you will need to bring a yoga mat. If you have any questions about what to bring to class, contact information services at email@example.com.
Why do you have multiple locations?
We try to offer as many classes as we can to accommodate our growing number of clients. The prime evening hours to offer classes are from 6:30-8:30. In order to run classes at the same time, and to accommodate the size of the classes, we have to have multiple rooms. The classes never change locations. Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!
What is a typical day like for the personal training sessions, and the group fitness class?
Here at Get Shaped Fitness there is no such thing as a typical day. You can expect a mixture of anaerobic and aerobic exercises, such as: cardio exercises, light and moderate weight-training, mat work, polymetrics, etc. Each day is designed to be fun and different.
How soon will I see results?
The most important thing to remember is this is not the Biggest Loser. More than likely you will not have the time to work with us 6 hours a day for 6 days a week. Losing 15-20 lbs. a week is unrealistic and unhealthy. We advocate a complete change in lifestyle, instead of a quick fix. Our goal is to help you reach your goals and be able to maintain that after you leave us.
Performance improvement can take place in as little as two weeks. "Visual improvement" can take from four to eight weeks depending on your effort and dedication to not only the exercise but also your diet. It is not uncommon to see people drop their body fat percentage 2-4% within the first month. Remember, everyone is different!

What happens if I miss a day of my monthly plan?
All monthly plans cover the entire month and not individual classes. Of course if there is an injury or a special circumstance we will freeze your program until you are able to return. Just contact information services at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us of your injury or special circumstance.
What is the Cancellation,Auto Renewal, Refund and Expiring policy?
Cancellation of Group Fitness Classes: A five hour cancellation notice, is required for rescheduling or cancelling any and all Group fitness classes. People in the membership Program may cancel anytime before the start of class (People signed up for the membership can click the late cancel option. We will correct it in the system by the end of the next business day). A no show will result in a lost class.
Cancellation of Personal training sessions: Twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notice, by phone, is required for rescheduling or cancelling any and all individual Sessions. Any and all cancellations with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice will result in forfeiture of the Session without refund. If Trainer must cancel a Session, he/she will do so, by phone.
Cancellation and Refund of All Sessions: Client may cancel this contract within four (4) business days after the day this contract was signed for a full refund of any and all monies paid.
The fee for the program is payable in advance of Sessions in one lump sum or may be paid through installment or reoccurring payments and, except as provided below, is nonrefundable even if the client cannot or does not participate in all of the training sessions in the program. As an exception, if as a result of a physical injury or adverse health condition, the client is unable to complete the program, then a portion of the fee will be refunded on the following basis: (1) 30% of the fee will be non-refundable and will compensate Get Shaped Fitness LLC for administrative and related expenses and (2) the remaining 70% of the fee will be proportionately refunded, based upon the number of training sessions in the program in which the client could not participate because of the injury of adverse health conditions. The client must make a written request of the refund, specifying in that request the injury or health condition preventing her/his participation in the program. Each refund will be paid within thirty days after Get Shaped Fitness LLC received that written request.
Auto Renewal: When signed up for our auto renewal program, you will be charged with the card on file or sent an invoice (if requested) at time of auto renewal. Auto Renewal continues until we are give notice that you would like to cancel. Any questions about auto renewal can be directed to Information Services at email@example.com
All classes and personal training session expire after 6 months unless it is specifically specified differently in the contract.
